Although, while I'm here, I might as well tell you all that the vast majority of this blog's all-time visits now hail from the States, so give yourselves a pat on the back, American readers, as you obviously have rare taste and discernment.

It's good that our cousins over the pond can get to see what we had over here. I always feel SO privileged being born on this side, as we had our own comics and probably all of the US ones as well from about '58 onwards. We were so lucky!
Did you know that Fireball XL5 was the only Gerry Anderson programme networked all over America, JP? The others were shown in syndication at various times in different places.
I didn't know this till recently, when TC told me in one of his comments.
We were lucky in as much as we had the best of the US telly as well as our own too!
Aha! Then you should've been paying more attention, JP. I mentioned it back in 2012, in my post 'Fireball XL5 & the Moon Masters'. Yup, we sure were lucky.
