TAKE ME IN YOUR ARMS & HOLD ME...

When this duet was recorded, JIM REEVES
had been dead for about 16 years.  Ain't technology

Okay, peeps, while I've got the comics out, here are the first five covers of NIPPER, IPC's A5 sized comic from the late '80s.  The remaining 11 A3 sized comics are up in my loft somewhere, but once I've located them, I'll do part two.

Ooh, something to look forward too, eh?  Anybody want to see some of the contents?

BABE Of The DAY - JUDITH RALSTON...

It's BBC SCOTLAND weather
gal JUDITH RALSTON to 'warm
the cockles' of semi-regular Criv-ite
McS's heart.  As for today's weather...
there's a damp front spreading across
McS's the country's lower regions,
but dry spells will soon follow.

At the beginning of 1987, the first issue of IPC's new fortnightly A5 comic for young kids hit the shops - NIPPER.  After five issues, it became a standard A4 comic, which lasted until #16 when it then merged with BUSTER.  However, there was a sample version tried out on readers before the regular title's release in order to try and stir up demand for it.  Here's that complete ish!

PART TEN Of PLAYMATES From FAR-AWAY PLACES...

Yet another in this seemingly never-ending series from the back page of LITTLE STAR, a nursery comic from the '70s.  Only two more to go you'll be relieved to hear, then I'll see if there's anything inside the comic that I can use to fill a post or three.  Incidentally, TIMMY grew up to be a fat lazy slob who lay about on the beach all day, drinking lager and eating fruit doves.  No wonder he spent so much time fattening them up.
