CENTURY 21 MINI ALBUMS...

Didn't we kids have it great back in the 1960s?  Do you remember the CENTURY 21 33 r.p.m. mini albums of various GERRY ANDERSON puppet programmes that used to be available in shops?  The only one I ever actually owned at the time was INTRODUCING CAPTAIN SCARLET, but I've picked up a few others over the years, either in originals, cassette tape re-issues in the '90s, or CD facsimiles issued by FANDERSON.  Here are a few for your perusal - enjoy the memories.

And below is one of Fanderson's original productions.  If you're interested in joining the club and gaining access to all the goodies on offer, you can find a link in my blog list.  (Update: Now deleted, after they wanted me to renew my year's membership after only 5 months.)

(BOND) BABE Of The DAY - MADELINE SMITH...

MADDY luv, go and put some
clothes on, 'cos it's freezing outside.
Hang on a mo, though - it's suddenly
getting hot around here.  On second
thought, stay just as you are.

POLITICIANS MAKE ME PUKE!

Would you trust either of these men?

Remember when all those money-grubbing politicians were involved in an expenses scandal a little while ago?  Their response was "It's not against the rules!" as if that were some kind of justification for their shameful greed and unethical behaviour.  Any sensible person's attitude would be to say "Well, it bloody well should be!"  Well, it's happened again, as demonstrated by the findings over the 'cash for access' scandal involving two former foreign secretaries MALCOM RIFKIND and JACK STRAW.

Apart from "a minor misuse of parliamentary resources" on Jack Straw's part, both politicians have been 'cleared' of any wrongdoing, despite Malcom Rifkind boasting to undercover reporters posing as employees of a non-existent communications agency that he was able to arrange "useful access" to every British ambassador in the world due to his status, and that he was self-employed and had loads of "free time" on his hands.

The decision is no surprise of course, when politicians are both judge and jury in the matter of their own conduct.  They're the biggest 'benefit scroungers' in Britain and are only out for themselves.  Shame on them!
