BABE Of The DAY - RAQUEL WELCH...

Ravishing RAQUEL WELCH shows
us just what women should look like.  One
day I may even get a date with one who does.
I live in hope, but for some weird reason, gals
who look like this don't seem to want guys
like me.  (Why?  Sure is a mystery.)

CUTE ANIMALS & THEIR PALS...

Nobody can resist cute animals - so here's
a few for you to 'ooh' and 'aah' over.

PART SIX Of The COMPLETE DENNIS The MENACE BOOK COVER GALLERY...

Here we are at last, readers, with the final part in our series of DENNIS The MENACE Book covers.  The Annual for 2009 was the last one  to contain the Dennis that old-timers like me know and love.  The last two in the 55 year run reflected the Dennis from the CBBC cartoon, which makes me wonder if that factor was responsible for them being the last two published, as the 'look' of the original Menace was sadly absent - despite some good art from NIGEL PARKINSON and TOM PATERSON, respectively.

And so ended a tradition first begun in 1955.  Got any childhood memories of any of these great books (including ones in the previous five parts)?  Then jump over to the comments section and share them with your fellow Criv-ites, Menace fans.

MORE MARVEL POCKET MAGS...

As a follow-up to the previous post, here are another four MARVEL Pocket Mags, this time from 1988.  This quartet of titles had far fewer pages, the X-MEN one containing a single story and the other three a couple of shorter tales, though unlike the last ones I featured, had full colour interiors (not counting the inside covers).  They're only 108 by 160mm in size and, thankfully, don't take up too much space.

Anybody know of any other ones?

MARVEL POCKET MAG COVER GALLERY...

I've got so much stuff that I'm always considering what I could bear parting with to make space, and earlier tonight my eye fell upon these MARVEL Pocket Mags from 2005.  I'm going to keep them 'cos they're nice little items, but it occurred to me that some of you may be unaware of their existence, so here they are for you to have a look at.

They're 124 by 164mm in size, the interiors are black and white, and a page has been discreetly edited out of The MIRACLE MAN tale (FF #3) in The FANTASTIC FOUR mag, which means that some others may have been similarly 'abridged' (I did once know, but have long since forgotten), but they're still great little comics to thumb through in those inevitable idle moments.

Anyone else remember them, and were there any other issues in the series that I may have missed?  Feel entirely free to enlighten me on the matter.
