AGAIN - 'X' MARKS THE SPOT (THE DIFFERENCE)...

Images copyright MARVEL COMICS

Strike while the iron is hot they say, so having piqued your interest with the previous post, I thought I'd give you more of the same.  Above is X-MEN #1 cover as originally drawn, below as originally published.  I think STAN LEE was right to make the changes as it made the characters stand out more.  What think the rest of you?

If you have an opinion, feel free to leave it in our ever-lovin' but neglected comments section.

Yep, the published version was better in this case, but only marginally!

I'd say more than marginally, JP, but my one reservation with the published version is that Marvel Girl just seems to be standing there looking helpless. She's better positioned 'though.

Yeah, they should have kept the telekinesis in that was coming from her head! - Definitely!

Although the 'telekinesis' lines did make the cover looked cluttered. Perhaps a hint of them just at the front of her head might've worked better.

I was thinking 2 faint broken lines emerging from her head?

I'd have made it three short lines to the left (from our pov) of her head, similar to Spidey's spider-sense lines, but shorter and much thinner.
