ANGIE DICKINSON, aka POLICE
WOMAN, is an arresting sight so cop a
gander. I'll warrant she likes being gazed
at and there's no law against appreciating a
pretty gal. If I'm any judge, being married to
her would be a life sentence any prisoner
of love would welcome. Time off for good
behaviour? No thanks, m'lud. Court dis-
missed! All rise. (Schwiiinngg!)

Pass the Pepper please! Mmmm,...lovely.
I'm tellin' your missus that you're oglin' another woman. Ooh, you're for it now.
Looks like a publicity shot from the movie Rio Bravo...excellent movie.
Yeah, it was on the telly the other night too.
The TV landscape of today is so different from the '70s when 'Police Woman' was on - we were awash in American TV shows in those days and now we don't see any at all on terrestial TV. Well, I think that's right - I very rarely watch TV nowadays and if I want to see something in particular I use iplayer. That reminds me - I might watch last Saturday's Dr. Who, I haven't decided yet :)
Prepare to be disappointed if you do. Some good moments, but outnumbered by even more ridiculous ones.
Agree that the shot looks like a publicity still from Rio Bravo (1959), which was probably her first big budget A-list movie.
I thought she actually looked hotter in the 1970's. Maybe some people need to grow into their looks.
I remember seeing her on Merv Griffin's talk show in the 1970's. Bob Hope was also a guest. He quipped, "No wonder Police Woman is a popular show. She has her own thirty-eights." Angie giggled, "I wish!"
Yeah, I'd agree with you, TC - I thought she looked better in the '70s too. That Bob Hope, eh? What a wag.
