You may remember be talking several posts back about a MARVEL story from the '60s which didn't make much sense. Well, I've now added the actual pages, which can be accessed by clicking here. Take a look and judge for yourself just how daft it is.
A cascading cornucopia of cool comics, crazy cartoons, & classic collectables - plus other completely captivating & occasionally controversial contents. With nostalgic notions, sentimental sighings, wistful wonderings, remorseful ruminations, melancholy musings, rueful reflections, poignant ponderings, & yearnings for yesteryear. (And a few profound perplexities, puzzling paradoxes, & a bevy of big, beautiful, bedazzling, buxom Babes to round it all off.)

Lee ended a lot of stories this way.
Well, if you believe the anti-Lee brigade, it was Kirby, Ditko, and Heck who came up with the plots anyway, yet they're quite happy to 'credit' him with the duff ones. Funny that.
I'm not completely on board with the anti-Lee brigade. I feel he had a strong hand in shaping the look and tone of Marvel in the Silver Age. And in the Atlas era, he seemed to be writing everything. So I don't blame him for repeating once in a while. I loved those monster books, no matter how repetitious they may have been.
They were usually very entertaining, but this story is ludicrous. There is a way to make it more sensible, though it would need to be re-dialogued in places to do so.
