Relax, only 9 more to go before we've worked our way through these back cover LITTLE STAR pages. I paid for 'em and I'm gonna use 'em! (Did nobody else ever buy Little Star when they were a kid? Okay, so I was a teenager when I first bought them back in 1972, but hey - it was a new comic - with free gifts - and I just couldn't resist!)

Hi Kid and thanks for all your brilliant posts since my last comment. I have now been through and enjoyed them all and I'm sorry for my lack of comments whilst I've been busy!
I was exactly the right age for Little Star when it came out and the name rings a bell but whether I ever read it I really can't recall. Obviously they thought foreign names were too much for little minds to handle - Suzie from China, Paul from Panama so what's next - Fred from Pakistan and Harry from Outer Mongolia ?
That's okay, JP, hope you got all your tasks finished successfully. Feel free to go back and comment if you want (or have the time).

I suppose it was all part of a desire to portray foreign kids as not much different from British ones, CJ, so that they could relate to them.
We were wondering where you'd gone, John - welcome back !!
All we need now is McScotty and the gang's all here. (Just about.)
