A cascading cornucopia of cool comics, crazy cartoons, & classic collectables - plus other completely captivating & occasionally controversial contents. With nostalgic notions, sentimental sighings, wistful wonderings, remorseful ruminations, melancholy musings, rueful reflections, poignant ponderings, & yearnings for yesteryear. (And a few profound perplexities, puzzling paradoxes, & a bevy of big, beautiful, bedazzling, buxom Babes to round it all off.)

All the very best for 2026, Kid. Wishing you good health for next year! And thanks for your excellent, informative, stimulating (Babes), entertaining and nostalgic Blog. May you continue for many years to come...
Thanks, AAW, I'll be in my bed early tonight 'cos I never celebrate New Year, but thanks for the kind sentiments. If I don't respond to further comments tonight, it's 'cos I'm sleeping, not ignoring anyone. Cheers.
No, neither do I, I just prefer to get it over with really. The Crazy-loons are already setting off fireworks ('bombs!') at 6.45pm, scareing my dogs? Mad world! Enjoy your evening...
Happy new year to all. We had fireworks last night but didn't keep me awake. Forgot to turn the alarm off on my phone so I was rudely awoken when I should have been sleeping in.
On our new calendar, I noticed that today is a public holiday in Scotland. I mused that it was probably a second day to recover from serious drinking on Hogmanay. Upon Googling imagine my complete astonishment to find that I was right! Incredible! So the Scots get 9 public holidays and we only get 8. Disgraceful. I may consider a move across the border. I can work from home and take advantage of the extra day off.
Happy New Year To You! (late as usual!) Not so great new year to us in the states, as you know from reading the headlines. My tablet broke and now I have a whole year of Crivens to catch up on reading on my ancient laptop. My wife and I both survived our bout of cancer and are looking forward to better times. Hope you are well. For the new year I made peace with our wild rabbit (I call him magic bunny, as he vanished in front of me through our chain link fence once). I feed him carrot peals. This may be a colossal mistake but we will see. Love your Tardis. I have a Dapol one somewhere. We've been watching Tom Baker on Britbox here. Well, cheers for now. Take care.
HNY to you, too, LM. Glad to hear about you and the missus surviving your bout of the big 'C' - things will now hopefully only get better from here on in. I've got the Dapol Tardis as well, plus various other versions, but my original Plaston one was the first I ever had. Keep well.

Have a good one Kid.
Yeah, fireworks are going off in my neck of the woods too. Really annoying. Sleep beckons.
Thanks, McS, and to you as well.

Happy New Year to you, Kid!
I've been very tired for days now, for some reason I can't determine. Must be getting old. HNY to you, too.
And to you too, G, and many more of them.

I think England and probably Wales get holidays that we don't get, M, so hopefully it all balances out.
