Look at what just arrived at Castel Crivens - 'Read 'em and weep!'
I asked my legal team, Collier, Ferris, & Chambers, whether I should confirm or deny your assessment that these comics are repro, B, and they advised me to say "I refuse to discuss the matter."
They are lovely but for me, Amazing Fantasy is the fairest of them all. I wonder if Stan the Man had any idea what his creation would become in years to come? It could have gone either way. Have you heard of Tiger Man, Kid? I had a comics guide back in the 80s and it said of Tiger Man 'he spent his time running around New York looking a complete jerk'. Scathing.
Yes, I bought Tiger-Man when it first came out, and I've got at least one replacement issue (acquired sometime in the '90s, I think) in my collection today. Wasn't too impressed by the mag to be honest. As for Stan, I doubt he or anyone had any idea how successful Spidey (or any other Marvel character) would become when the mags were first published, M, as they were too busy churning them out to give much thought to it.
