A cascading cornucopia of cool comics, crazy cartoons, & classic collectables - plus other completely captivating & occasionally controversial contents. With nostalgic notions, sentimental sighings, wistful wonderings, remorseful ruminations, melancholy musings, rueful reflections, poignant ponderings, & yearnings for yesteryear. (And a few profound perplexities, puzzling paradoxes, & a bevy of big, beautiful, bedazzling, buxom Babes to round it all off.)
All the Christmas illuminations were still lit in my town centre this morning which was nice to see. We are now living in the second half of the 2020s and the second quarter of the 21st Century - it's a sober reminder of the onward march of time that more than half the days in this decade have already passed and the once futuristic year of 1999 is now more than 25 years ago.
Ta much, McS. If I've got the energy, I'll have my decorations down by or on the 6th. If I'm too knackered, it'll be whenever I feel up to it. Have a great year.
Kid, in some countries they keep the Christmas decorations up until Candlemas on February 2nd which is the 40th and final day of the Christmas season so you don't need to get your decorations down by Jan 6th.

Happy New Year, Kid - and to all who haunt the battlements of Castel Crivens!

Ta, P, I'm just off to feed those battlement haunters - with plenty of fresh air.

I don't need a reminder, sober or otherwise, CJ. The last half of my life has passed (all together now) faster than a fart from The Flash.
Awe ra best for 2025 "big man". We took our Christmas decorations down today, sorry Colin but its bliss lol

Don't worry, CJ, I've never followed that 'rule' slavishly anyway. I just use it as a guide.
