A cascading cornucopia of cool comics, crazy cartoons, & classic collectables - plus other completely captivating & occasionally controversial contents. With nostalgic notions, sentimental sighings, wistful wonderings, remorseful ruminations, melancholy musings, rueful reflections, poignant ponderings, & yearnings for yesteryear. (And a few profound perplexities, puzzling paradoxes, & a bevy of big, beautiful, bedazzling, buxom Babes to round it all off.)

(BOND) BABE OF THE DAY - MADELINE SMITH (AGAIN)...
Ah Madeline she used to be a regular fixture on TV in the early 70's - does anyone remember J Edward Oliver's comic strip in the Disc (the Record Mirror) old Mr Oliver had a bit of a "thing" (understandably) about Madeline and used to feature her a lot in that strip.
I used to have a bit of a crush on Madeline and Ayshea Brough (from "Lift of with Ayshea" and "UFO") when I was a kid (all very innocent ) - I wonder what they are both doing now sad when folk slip out of the limelight that were once a big part of your life (of course we all do that in some way and Im sure they are busy in other ways)
Yeah, I fancied Ayshea as well. I think both are probably getting a wee turn on the Gerry Anderson and Hammer Films convention circuit these days, as people have fond memories of them. And, of course, Maddie comes 'round to my house and makes my tea for me every Friday. (NURSE - REALITY PILL!!!)

Don't think I ever saw that strip, PM, but I can quite understand someone having a 'thing' for Maddy. Who wouldn't?
