A cascading cornucopia of cool comics, crazy cartoons, & classic collectables - plus other completely captivating & occasionally controversial contents. With nostalgic notions, sentimental sighings, wistful wonderings, remorseful ruminations, melancholy musings, rueful reflections, poignant ponderings, & yearnings for yesteryear. (And a few profound perplexities, puzzling paradoxes, & a bevy of big, beautiful, bedazzling, buxom Babes to round it all off.)

What I liked about them was lots of good stories for cheap! Who wouldn't like that. They were new to me. And that's definitely Dick Sprang art.
Yeah, they were great. I like looking through my old ones.
US annuals were always a treat with that thick spine and lots of colour pages and that is a really great great cover (first time I' ve seen this one). The cover looks like all Sprang to me but according to Mikes Amazing World of Comics blog the cover credits here are pencillers: Curt Swan. Sheldon Moldoff and Dick Sprang and Charles Paris INKS
First time you've seen it, McScotty? I posted it before with the next 3 covers - you must've missed it. DC released a replica edition a few years ago, which is worth having.
"Weren't they good?", you ask! GOOD? - They were flippin' fantastic, especially the Batman ones!
Absolutely delightful and leave you wanting more!
There's a book called DC COMICS CLASSICS LIBRARY containing the first 3 Batman Annuals, JP. It was published in 2009 - you'd love it. Over to eBay with you.
Oops, just noticed you left a comment over on my post about this book, so you already know about it.
