BABE OF THE DAY - VELMA...

Okay, here's a question for you -
what's better than a Scooby Snack?
The answer: VELMA.  Be honest - the
cartoon didn't do her justice, did it?

I didn't recognise that Linda Edna Cardellini was the actress behind the Velma make up she looks cute as Velma (and I can say that as Linda is 39 in reality) but the real "Linda" is naturally stunning (imho) - Still for a cartoon babe you cant beat Jessica Rabbit

And Jessica's already been our of our Babes of the Day, as I'm sure you know, McScotty. Amazing the power a drawing can have, eh?

Scooby Doo was one of the earliest things I remember watching on TV along with Doctor Who and Star Trek (so around 1970). It was really quite spooky and has always been one of my all-time favourite cartoons. Of course they ruined it by bringing in Scrappy Doo and the live film version was awful.

I think McDonalds is doing a Scooby Doo promotion at the moment, CJ. Still life in the old dog yet, eh?

Did you ever notice, when they were running away from g-g-ghosts, that Velma was leaning back whilst the rest of the gang ran away leaning forwards, arms outstretched?

Those pesky kids, eh? Can't even run in an orderly manner.

The first thing I ever noticed about Linda Cardellini was that she was super-cute. The second thing (once I realized that the same actress played nerdy Velma in the Scooby-Doo movies and scrappy RN Samantha Taggart on "E.R.") was that she could act.

I didn't even know who she was - I just thought "H'mm, nice!"
