Sometimes words are superfluous, and this is surely one such occasion. What could I possibly say that would increase your appreciation of the first ten covers of The X-MEN as illustrated by JACK 'KING' KIRBY? Well, to be honest - nothing. So all that need be said is - enjoy!

Heh--for a little while there, it was the not-so-Scarlet Witch, wasn't it? I guess it took the colorist a couple of issues to get up to speed. :)
And on the covers of #s 4, 5 & 6, Quicksilver's costume was more or less the colour it later became in The Avengers.
