Posted at the request on his blog of Mark Evanier, former assistant to and biographer of Jack Kirby. I think Mark missed a word-play trick here - I'd have titled it 'Kanigher Is Always Getting Fingered - And It's Got To Stop!' And although I'm aware that a sexual connotation could be read into the word, I'm using it in the same way as gangsters in the '30s & '40s, when 'fingered' meant being 'pointed out' to the attention of the authorities (or rival gangsters).
