The Avengers and Conan wow almost like it was back in the day amazing (although it seems this time it actually Conan in the Avengers )
With any luck, McS, maybe we'll see a Conan Collectors' Edition to fill the space vacated by MWOM, eh? I'd buy it.
I assume those behind Avengers Universe would be totally unaware of the long-ago link between The Avengers and Conan.
I've finally got around to reading Savage Sword Of Conan #9 and #10 which I bought in September and October - only the current issue, #11, still to read and I'll be up to date. I started reading Marvel comics again in 2007 after a 24-year break but I've never kept any of them, but I am keeping all the issues of the new SSOC (so far #7, 9, 10 and 11) which means I've become a comics collector again for the first time since the early '80s.
I imagine they'd be too young to have experienced the UK Avengers/Conan weekly, CJ, but they probably know about them as they doubtless research Marvel UK history from time-to-time when they're writing articles about it.
So am I to assume that when it comes to Conan, you prefer a real comic to reading it on an iPhone (or whatever they're called)? Doesn't it feel good to be back in the collecting fold?
I enjoy reading real comics but I'll also be buying the latest e-book collection of SSOC when it's released on January 15th.
Oh, the sheer extravagance, CJ - you're spoiling yourself.
