I've shown these DALEKS transfers before, but it never hurts to refresh one's memory, eh? Do any cavortin' Crivs recall having these beauties back in the '60s? The 'dabitties' were printed in reverse of course, being the right way 'round once applied to the back of your hand or forearm.
And below is how they'd have looked once 'transferred'.

I certainly remember these transfer tattoos they were really popular when I were a lad and these do now ring a bit of a bell. I rarely managed to get them to work properly and they wouldn’t always transfer 100% or break up on my arm - I remember you used to get them in really large sheets with everything from planes to farm animals to super heroes etc . I got box of retro sweets for Christmas and in it were a few bubble gums that had a single transfer tattoo in them that brought those days back (I still didn’t manage to get it to “stick” properly) On a slightly different issue I remember those rub on transfer sets (I think Letraset did them ) I used to love them Romans , Cowboys, WW2 scenes etc
Have you been able to track down a sheet yet?
I remember the Letraset rub-down transfers, PM. I had the astronauts and the ghosts ones for certain, and probably a few others. I'd have to see them before I remember them 'though.

Not yet, JP. As I'm never going to actually use them if I do, I might just print a set for myself on a piece of card. I'll keep my eyes out for a set 'though. I check eBay every so often. I've managed to get Captain Scarlet and Yogi Bear ones, so anything's possible.
Ah thats right I had the Astronauts set as well - great fun.
A few sets here to jog the old grey matter Kid:

Ooh, ta, PM - off to have a look.
Had a look, but I never had any of the few they showed. I think they were after 'my' time. Still interesting 'though.
I vividly remember getting my first set (WW2) in the Old (and totally massive and amazing) Lewis' store in Glasgow in the massive toy departments.
I think this may be the astronaut set :

That may well be them, PM, although I seem to remember more 'traditional' looking astronauts. I may be thinking of the transfers that came with the shoes 'though. I'll have to go back to that sight and do a 'nosy' through it. Ah, Lewis's.
