Okay, frantic fans, here's another four MARVEL posters from the 1960s. As far as I know, there were only eight of them, so you've now got the full set. (For Part One, click here.) I'm far too good to you, I really am. (Feel free to agree.)
I wonder who did the inking touch-ups on these posters? It's reminiscent of VINCE COLLETTA's style (though it could possibly be SYD SHORES), but probably only Nifty NICK CAPUTO will know for sure. Hey, Nick - where are you?

I was assuming they were inked by Bill Everett but I have no good reason for assuming that.
Now that you've mentioned his name, I seem to vaguely recall reading something somewhere many years ago to that effect, so you could well be right.
Have you seen the prices these things go for on eBay? I'm slightly surprised no-one's licensed the rights to print 'em again (or are the high prices due to age and scarcity...?)
No doubt that's the reason, BS. Like you, I'm surprised they've never been reissued. Maybe one day.
While I cannot say with certainty, when these have come up in other places, it's been said that Marie Severin embellished the orginal figures for better presentation at poster size.
Thanks for that, SD. Colletta, Everett, Shores or Severin - who knows for sure?
Kid,
I finally made it here, now where's my check?* I believe Marie Severin was involved in touching up most/all the posters, although thee may be another hand at work, possibly John Verpoorten who I believe was in production at the time.
* in joke, see my blog comments(http://nick-caputo.blogspot.com/2015/07/50-summers-ago-amazing-spider-man.html) for the full story. Nifty Nick.
The cheque (why do you Americans spell funny?) is in the post, Nick. (He said, with his fingers crossed.) Ta for the input.
