A cascading cornucopia of cool comics, crazy cartoons, & classic collectables - plus other completely captivating & occasionally controversial contents. With nostalgic notions, sentimental sighings, wistful wonderings, remorseful ruminations, melancholy musings, rueful reflections, poignant ponderings, & yearnings for yesteryear. (And a few profound perplexities, puzzling paradoxes, & a bevy of big, beautiful, bedazzling, buxom Babes to round it all off.)

Okay, frantic fans, here's another four MARVEL posters from the 1960s. As far as I know, there were only eight of them, so you've now got the full set. (For Part One, click here.) I'm far too good to you, I really am. (Feel free to agree.)
I wonder who did the inking touch-ups on these posters? It's reminiscent of VINCE COLLETTA's style (though it could possibly be SYD SHORES), but probably only Nifty NICK CAPUTO will know for sure. Hey, Nick - where are you?
MARVEL POSTERS From The '60s...

In the 1960s, MARVEL COMICS licenced a series of posters which were 'slicked up' with some extra delineation to make them a tad more detailed in the inking department. Most of them made an appearance as back page pin-ups on British mags like FANTASTIC and TERRIFIC, and even, in the case of the above SPIDER-MAN pic, as an iron-on transfer given away with the second issue of POW!
So here's the first in a two-part post to thrill and delight you. If you'd like to see Part Two (and what Merry Marvelite wouldn't?), then click here.)
