As most Crivvies will know, I've been a Yogi Bear fan since childhood, and buy selected merchandise whenever it becomes available and I can afford it. Recently, I purchased this trio of Yogi Bear Comic Albums from the '60s, though they continued to be available in the '70s as well, but with a reduced page count, sometimes un-numbered, and without the 'Oor Wullie' and 'Broons'-type taped spines you see on these three. There were Flintstones ones as well, and I think I've got one of the '70s printings somewhere in my vast accumulation of stuff.
The interiors are b&w and contain other Hanna Barbera characters, like Pixie & Dixie, Top Cat, Quick Draw McGraw, Snagglepuss, Snooper & Blabber, Yakky Doodle, and Augie Doggie. The early printings contained 96 pages (not including covers) and sold for 2/6 in old money. Later editions had, I think, around 68 pages, though I'd have to check to be sure. The covers are redolent of a now vanished age, with the last two being painted illustrations as opposed to the standard cartoon line drawings that traditionally adorned such publications.
Anyway, Crivs, they're worth a look, so cop a gander and leave a comment if you had any or all of these Comic Albums back in the day.

I didn't own any of them and I didn't even know they existed until today.
Don't forget to put your clocks back an hour tonight, Kid - I've done mine already.
This year's Christmas stamps go on sale from November 3rd if you're interested.
A font of enlightenment is Crivens, CJ. You should know that by now.
I've got loads of clocks so it'll take me ages. Hopefully I'll manage to get them all done before it's time to put them forward again.
Always interested in Christmas stamps - I've got ones from the '60s. Think I showed them on the blog once.
I don't remember seeing these either but as a kid I loved HB characters in comics. I spent many a happy hour copying characters like Yogi, Huckleberry Hound and Snooper and Blabber. I have a HB comic with a wonderfully drawn Snooper and Blabber inside ( black and white) page strip. I regret letting so many of those kids comics go .
I think I regret letting go of everything I ever let go of, McS, and wish I had it all back again. I suppose that makes me a bit of a saddo, but just can't help it. It's inevitable that we tend to get rid of these types of comics as we get older, as they're more easily categorised as 'children's stuff' and we're eager to be seen as 'sophisticated' adults, or as close to that as we can be.
