Here's a quality quartet of Facsimile Editions from DC and Marvel. Although the Marvel issues are excellent, the DC ones just steal the Blue Peter Badge as they're more like the original printings than the Marvel ones. This is due to the paper DC use and their placement of the barcode box on the back cover instead of the front. Not got 'em yet? Don't wait too long, effendis - you wouldn't want to miss these beauties.

I got Silver Surfer issue 3 last week but issue 4 is a must have for me, one of the best Marvels imo of the period. I will need to pop I to town later in the week for that one. I have an original of Batman issue 244 so will leave that . Detective 359 doesn't interest me though but what a great selection of classic facsimilies.
I had DC #359 back in the day and acquired a replacement for it a good number of years ago, McS. I also bought the first version of the facsimile, but it had a barcode on the cover, hence me buying this new version. I have various reprints of Batman #244, but not the original (though had it way back when), but it's nice to own a pristine condition facsimile. I'd still have bought it even if I'd yet had my original copy. Yeah, the cover to SS #4 is a belter, ain't it!
Have to say, though, that turned-in right foot looks a bit awkward to me.
Picked up the Batman #244 last Sunday, despite having an original. I suppose I should get 'Tec #359, but it doesn't hold the same nostalgia value for me that Batman #244 does. I'm in two minds to get the Silver Surfer facsimiles ; I picked up #1 a month or so back. I think I can still get #2 and #3, so perhaps I'll get those back issues.
359 is 1st appearance of Batgirl, B, so of course you should get it. Has some great GGA by Carmine Infantino. And the Surfers are must haves for sure.
