Stunning actress Imogen Hassall
appeared in movies and also TV shows such as
The Saint, The Champions, The Persuaders,
The Avengers, Jason King, etc., and tragically died
of an overdose in 1980 at the relatively young age of 38.
I'm currently awaiting the arrival of a biography of her,
the cover of which you can see below. Available
on eBay, should anyone be interested.

Such a lovely actress. She was great in Carry on Loving one of my favourite carry ons. I bought that book a few years ago. Will have to try and locate it as I don't remember actually reading it. Talking pictures tv showed the film White Cargo just recently in which she starred with David Jason and Hugh Lloyd. Not watched yet. Thank you for bringing her to the attention of your readers
She's been one of my favourite actresses/models for years, AL, though I only learned she was dead a couple or so years back. I've featured her on the blog a good few times, so type her name into the search box and see what pops up, if you haven't already seen the posts. It's a pleasure to give her the attention she undoubtedly deserves.
A couple or so years back? Actually it was around ten. How time flies.
