Nice one Kid! The rot runs deep in politics. The Epstein file is a political pervert hit list.
I've long been aware of the physical likeness between the two figures (one real, one fictional) in this post, though whether there are any other kind of similarities between them or not is unknown to me.
The Child Catcher wasn't a paedo, nor was he a friend of paedos, whereas Mandelson's 'best pal' was a paedo. I'd say that makes the Child Catcher the one who should be embarrassed by the comparison, eh?
Let's leave that there then....Yes! A jolly good likeness. 'Hope you're fairing well, this evening?' Currenty six episodes of 'Space Precinct' now watched. I'm now quite smitten with the young Officer Castle, Police women (Julie Bendix) in the show, she reminds me of a girl I liked, back in the day, in looks and personality, very trim! So I shall continue with what I've started, it's still more entertaining than regular evening TV.
Getting by, AAW, ta for asking. I must get around to watching Space Precinct one of these days, but it won't be anytime soon. Too knackered to watch much of anything at the mo.
I consider Mandelson a loathsome figure who has been totally corrupted by money and he should never have been appointed as British ambassador to Washington but it seems very hypocritical that he's been sacked due to his friendship with Epstein while another of Epstein's pals, Donald Trump, will be enjoying all the pomp and ceremony of a state visit to the UK next week. If Mandelson deserves to be sacked shouldn't we also cancel Trump's visit?
I suppose that would depend on whether any emails between Trump and Epstein are as bad as the ones recently discovered between Mandelson and Epstein, CJ. It's in Britain's own interests to get along with Trump, even if it has to overlook certain aspects of his behaviour, but Mandelson isn't and never has been indispensable to the UK's interests and is easily replaceable.

Incidentally, Robert Helpmann (the second 'n' was an affectation) played for the same 'side' as Mandelson. What a coincidence.
