Recently, Bashful BARRY PEARL's family visited the MARVEL UNIVERSE Of SUPERHEROES Exhibition at the FRANKLIN INSTITUTE in Philadelphia and took loads of photographs. Barry has kindly shared them with me for use on CRIVENS!, as he knows many of my readers (including me) will never get the chance to visit the exhibition to see it for themselves. So here, courtesy of Barry and his family, are a few of the highlights for your viewing pleasure. Remember, any members of Barry's family in the following photos aren't part of the exhibition, though they may well be superheroes. Enjoy.

What an amazing event.. Top marks to Barry Pearl for sharing the photos with us!!!!!
Top marks to Barry indeed, LH. And let's throw in an honorary Blue Peter Badge while we're at it.
Barry - thanks for generously sharing those pictures. Hope you and your family had a fantastic time!
There you go, Barry - your efforts are appreciated. Thanks guys.
They did. We had one problem: My brother that he was worthy and keeps trying to lift Thor's hammer!
And that'll be even harder than it sounds, considering the hammer was in a glass display case.
Nice! I wonder about the costumes if they were screen used or made for touring. Anyone know?
A couple of the signs read 'as worn by' (then actor's name), so I presume the costumes are the ones worn on-screen, PS. I think it'd cost a bomb to remake everything just for a tour. Barry will no doubt let us know for sure one way or the other when he reads this.
They were the costumes used in the film
Ta, Barry. (See, told you he'd pop up, PS.)
I loved the first 2/3 of the original Iron Man movie . I didn’t care for the other 2. I saw that mark 1 costume of San Diego when the movie opened and was mighty impressed with it. I didn’t care much for Dr Strange as a movie sadly ( sad because he’s one of my favorite characters). I’m glad they had a lot of comic stuff. I think I’ve seen those other Iron Man armors at San Diego. I wonder what the Groot costume was for as I was under the impression he was cgi. If they used those for close ups as prosthetics and costumes that’s something I didn’t know .
The first Iron Movie was definitely the best, though there were bits in the other two that I also liked, PS. The Groot bust may have been to assist the cgi guys to render his face consistently, but I confess that I don't know with any certainty.
