BIG BORIS - THE ULTIMATE MONSTER...
Here's why KARLOFF THE UNCANNY was King
of the monsters. No point arguing, it's a simple fact!
What's he standing on, a squashed cat? Only kidding, it's some perfunctory scenery at sort of half baked attempt at a tableaux. Still a great character shot though.
I saw the title before I saw the picture and for a terrible moment I thought it would be that posh prat Boris Johnson....er, I mean that loveable rogue Boris Johnson. Talking of Tory MPs (as he'll soon be one again) Anne Widdecombe was also known as Doris Karloff.
Funnily enough, Boris's real surname was Pratt, so not the one you thought it would be, but a 'Pratt' all the same. Yeah, I knew about 'Doris', and she did look a bit like him.

It certainly is that, DSE. I've got copies of the original shooting scripts for the first three Frankie movies, and this photo is in the first one.

When he was younger,My dads nickname was Big Bor,due to him being rather tall.
Maybe the bolts through his neck had something to do with that as well, eh, Moony?
