COUNTDOWN's editor was DENNIS HOOPER, the former art
editor of TV CENTURY 21, so his involvement with a 'stand-in' for the
latter title no doubt explains the similarity between the two comics. (Of
course, the TV21 reprints helped with that as well.) It's just a shame that
POLYSTYLE PUBLICATIONS couldn't know in advance when the
comic was going to expire - then they could have counted down to #1,
which would've been the last issue. That way, the comic would really
have lived up to his name, eh? (Okay, it was just a thought.)

That futuristic 70s font should be brought back for everything. I think it should be the default font for web pages to remind us we are in the future.
Now there's an interesting point. Are we in the present or the future - or both? But I know what you mean, Phil.
