BABE OF THE DAY - JANET LEIGH...
Ah, doesn't JANET LEIGH look lovely?
See you in the shower, Janet - mother's in the
cellar. I've just slid some toast under the door
for her. Now where did I put my soap?

I think she was in the film 'Prince Valiant' in that photo. I remember reading somewhere that Psycho was the first ever Hollywood film to show a toilet on screen !
It's worth watching twice (at least) - once as just the movie, and then again with the very good commentary by Steven Soderbergh and director Mike Nichols.

Ah, but which was the first to show someone using one, CJ?
That could be Catch-22...when Chaplain Tappman walks into Col. Cathcart's office only to discover him tidying up (so to speak) on the toilet.
Never seen Catch 22, BS. Worth watching? (I don't mean for the toilet scene.)

I doubt I'd buy the DVD, BS, but if it ever pops up on telly, I may give it a look. Ta.
I would assume the photo is from "Prince Valiant." Either that or "The Vikings."
"Catch-22" seemed kind of pretentious and overblown for my taste. But it did add a phrase to our language.
I've seen clips of it, TC, but it never really grabbed my interest. When it next comes on telly, if there's nothing better on, I'll give it a go.
