A six-page epic extravaganza ends our current crop of JOHNNY FUTURE tales from the late, lamented FANTASTIC. Published back in the late '60s by ODHAMS PRESS, the masterful art of the amazing LUIS BERMEJO ensured that Britain's answer to SUPERMAN (after a swiftly abandoned INCREDIBLE HULK impression) would be remembered for a long time to come by those who were lucky enough to have read these titanic tales back in the day.
Want to see further adventures of ol' JF? Then be sure to let me know in the comments section. I don't fancy digging out my back issues and spending hours scanning countless pages if there isn't a sufficient audience for them. Your vote counts - use it!

Every week i look forward to the next episode of Johnny. Thanks so much and please please carry on. Incidentally how many more episodes is there to go?
Best Wishes

At a rough guestimate, Martin, around 20, including the full colour story from one of the Fantastic Annuals. Glad you're enjoying them.
Well, I 'd like to read that Annual story in colour now that you 've mentioned it.
Panagiotis...
And so you shall, in a mere few posts time. Keep yer eyes peeled.
Turn you back on the computer for a day or so and it's post-apalooza on your site! Great to see Johnny F back, and definitely put me down for more. The dragging out and scanning much appreciated by those of us without access to the originals. Glad to see the big tin guy seen off - how is a superhero meant to get anything done with that thing clunking around after him?! Thanks for sharing.
They're not the only ones enjoying - keep it coming!
One thing about the artwork - more often than not the backgrounds are next to non-existent...yet it's so well done that you don't really notice (or I didn't), and when you do you don't really begrudge it like you might on any other strip.
cheers

Glad to hear you both like your JF fix, Phil and B. Bermejo knows exactly just how much detail is required for each panel to work, and, as I'm sure you realize, a gifted sequential storyteller is aware of not only what to put in, but also what NOT to put in.
