While my computer's in for repair (I'm using someone's spare one at the moment) I'm rather limited in my choice of images for use on the blog, but I figure you can stand a little repetition for a couple or so days 'til things are back to normal. So until then, here are the front and back covers of the first two BATMAN! World Adventure Libraries from the swinging '60s. Bring back any memories at all?
A cascading cornucopia of cool comics, crazy cartoons, & classic collectables - plus other completely captivating & occasionally controversial contents. With nostalgic notions, sentimental sighings, wistful wonderings, remorseful ruminations, melancholy musings, rueful reflections, poignant ponderings, & yearnings for yesteryear. (And a few profound perplexities, puzzling paradoxes, & a bevy of big, beautiful, bedazzling, buxom Babes to round it all off.)

Hmm I don't remember these. I do have the Superman novel though. In fact I read it for a college course on comic books.
That'll be the one by George Lowther, I presume? Got it, read it, but it's strictly for the kiddies. As are these Batman titles, which aren't actually books, but thin text stories with a few illos.
Even though I did have a couple of these, I couldn't remember the ads for ( or the existence of ) the U.N.C.L.E. books on the back!
Apologies if you showed us the backs first time around, ( the old memory and all that....)
Yup, I did previously show the backs, JP, but I quite understand you forgetting. There's such a load of great stuff on this blog (he said, modestly) that you can't be expected to remember it all.
