Are you a comicbook fan? Are you a MARVEL fan? Are you a DAREDEVIL fan? Well then, Melvin, you're luck is in, as the newest EPIC COLLECTION of ol' Hornhead is now available from all good comics shops. This is volume 3, but don't panic, volume 2 hasn't been released yet. (They publish them out of sequence for some curious reason.) Anyway, read the spiel on the back cover (below), sell (yes, 'sell', not 'tell' - it's not a typo) the wife or girlfriend, then rush out and buy this 'must-have' softcover book right away.
A cascading cornucopia of cool comics, crazy cartoons & classic collectables - plus other completely captivating & occasionally controversial content! With nostalgic notions, sentimental sighings, wistful wonderings, rueful reflections, remorseful ruminations, melancholy musings, poignant ponderings & yearnings for yesteryear! (To say nothing of a few profound perplexities & puzzling paradoxes thrown in for good measure.) Plus a bevy of beautiful, bedazzling, buxom Babes!

As the kids say these Epic collections are the bomb!
Aren't they just, PS! I don't think there's been a duff volume yet. I like the fact that they don't use the almost glossy paper of the Masterworks and Omnibus volumes. (Actually, it's not the paper itself that's glossy in these editions, but the inks seem to shine on the page.) With the Epic Collections, the paper is more like the 'real' comics paper of old (but better). It helps, of course, that the stories and art are mostly brilliant.
I'm tempted by this one it was a period of DD that I really liked - I am saving up for the Ditko "Spider-man" volumes and the Heck "Avengers" strips (how good were they) so this one as brilliant as it sounds may have to wait a bit longer tillI get it.
Got the ones you mention, PM, and they're brilliant - but so is this one. Gene Colan and Barry Smith art ('though not as good as he became on Conan) - what's not to like?!
