A cascading cornucopia of cool comics, crazy cartoons, & classic collectables - plus other completely captivating & occasionally controversial contents. With nostalgic notions, sentimental sighings, wistful wonderings, remorseful ruminations, melancholy musings, rueful reflections, poignant ponderings, & yearnings for yesteryear. (And a few profound perplexities, puzzling paradoxes, & a bevy of big, beautiful, bedazzling, buxom Babes to round it all off.)

HEY, LET'S REVISIT TAHITI...
Here's the double-language version of this ultra-soothing
song by JIM REEVES. Check out the previous post for the
same song by Jim sung completely in South Afrikaans.
Kimberley Jim was the name of the film, DSE, and it was made in South Africa, where Jim was the biggest American star there, outselling even Elvis. They almost regarded him as a god. He did an entire LP in South Afrikaans - and yes, I do have it in my collection.

So why what's Jim's connection with South Africa, I seem to recall he made a flick there one time, or was it just set in South Africa?.
