Here's JIM REEVES lip-syncing to his biggest hit, HE'LL
HAVE TO GO. It was unusual for Jim not to sing 'live', when he
could, so the reason for the lip-syncing is a bit of a mystery. Maybe a
guest spot on a show with not enough space for his backing band?
Anyone know? (Anyone care?) Still a brilliant song though.

Nice to see the Glaswegian translation, Kid, but can you identify the famous song I shall render to you now in OUR local parlance?
"Hurled wur clerss, divn't let wur gan,
Why aye, man.
Thoo ’n wur, why ah luvs the 'n ah think that the knahz, diz the knah?
With thy luv layte shayne-in,
Evry cloodz gorra silva layne-in.
Oh, hurled wur clerss, divn't let wur gan.
An' when the rerd gets wee-ree,
Why, ah lu-u-uvs thoo-oo-oo,
An' ah luvs ter have the near wur,
Cuz ah luvs the things that the diz...."
That'll be 'Hold Me Close, Don't Let Me Go' by David Essex.
Spot on, but I think I attempted it in too high a key for my voice!
( Did it sound awful? )
Yes, but it also sounded awful when David Essex sang it.
