Here's an alternate version of a newspaper ad I did for a hair & beauty salon back in 1984. I don't know if the above variant was ever printed, but the second version (below) was - and is scanned from the newspaper it appeared in. Knowing it would be printed extremely small, I tried to keep it as simple as possible to compensate for the usual murky reproduction to which newspapers were then prone.
