A cascading cornucopia of cool comics, crazy cartoons, & classic collectables - plus other completely captivating & occasionally controversial contents. With nostalgic notions, sentimental sighings, wistful wonderings, remorseful ruminations, melancholy musings, rueful reflections, poignant ponderings, & yearnings for yesteryear. (And a few profound perplexities, puzzling paradoxes, & a bevy of big, beautiful, bedazzling, buxom Babes to round it all off.)
WOAH! I don't normally go for brunettes but in this case, I'll make an exception. Surprised eBay haven't censored that picture. Embarrassing moment when I clicked and clicked again then hurriedly had to close it as the wife walked in. I am curious though, Kid - what were you searching for on eBay to suggest such an image?
Kid, it's amazing, the things you can buy on Ebay these days...Did you make a bid on her? (tee, hee!) Happy 'Saint Andrew's Day', if you follow that tradition?
I was buying all 10 issues of the original E-Man published by Charlton, and it was just one of many thumbnail images of various items available on eBay. Naturally, I had to click on the image. It's a man's duty.
Monty, that's exactly what I had to do with my Internet TV, almost got rumbled by the wife....but the model's very nice. Tell you what! if you're brave enough, there's loads of rude stuff and explicit images allowed on Ebay in the name of art now. Certainly not regulated the same? Keep up the good work Kid! It keeps us married men on our toes.
I made a start on our decorations yesterday. We've got quite a few lights in the back garden so take a while to put out. Looks good when it's done. These LED lights are great and I've got them all on a timer in the shed so no need to keep trudging up there every day. The indoor decorations take a while, we add to them every year. Well, when I say 'we', it's mainly me. I'm a sucker for cheap decorations in the charity shop down the road. We used to have a real tree every year (then keep it in the garden ready for next year) until we had a new carpet, then the wife was worried about sap on the carpet so switched to artificial.
Is the real tree still out in the garden, M? It would be a shame to have thrown it away after all its years of faithful service. Usually takes me days to put up all my indoor decorations, don't bother with outdoor ones. I was going to do some more today, but might just have a sleep instead.
We had 3 real trees over 10 years. My wife is a gardener and tried to keep them but if they didn't look right through dying branches then they had to go. I'm secretly pleased because the real tree in a pot was a heavy weight to lug in and out of the house. I did have a look to see if we still had the last tree because I would have put lights on it outside but sadly it's gone to the great compost heap in the sky.
It's a shame the three trees didn't get to go the the Christmas tree retirement home, M. Then you could have visited them whenever you felt like it. Someone I know used to have a real tree in his garden that he brought into the living room every Christmas, though I don't know if his wife and him still do that or, like you, have an artificial tree.

I was aware it was St. Andrews Day, but to me it's just another day. Unfortunately, as regards 'Dolly Bird', it was only her underwear on offer.

Thank you for taking one for the team, Kid. We salute you. 🫡
I'll do my best, AAW. Wives always keep husbands on their toes - that's their job.
You could send money as well, M, I wouldn't mind.
Yesterday wasn't only St. Andrew's Day- it was also the first day of Advent.
Then I'm glad I was able to get two of my Christmas trees up, CJ. Another two to go, plus room decorations.
