A cascading cornucopia of cool comics, crazy cartoons, & classic collectables - plus other completely captivating & occasionally controversial contents. With nostalgic notions, sentimental sighings, wistful wonderings, remorseful ruminations, melancholy musings, rueful reflections, poignant ponderings, & yearnings for yesteryear. (And a few profound perplexities, puzzling paradoxes, & a bevy of big, beautiful, bedazzling, buxom Babes to round it all off.)

As a submarine it should go UNDER the water surely.
ReplyDeleteNow that the buoyancy of the model is proven one day you can try holding it under the water then releasing it to see f it breaks the surface and leaps out of the water as in the TV show?
ReplyDeleteSubmarines don't always spend all their time underwater, CJ. And there are many instances in the TV show when Stingray sits atop the sea.
ReplyDelete******
If I did that, T47, it would only bob to the surface, it sadly wouldn't shoot out, nose first, like in the opening credits of the TV show.
Incidentally, still not getting email alerts of pending comments, hence me being a bit slow to answer them.
ReplyDeleteWas there ever a toy of the mechanical fish submarines under the control of villain King Titan? If so, I'd like to see both your Stingray and one of those fish in a mno-a-mano.
ReplyDeleteAnd, btw, I'm not getting ntoifications of comments on my SuperSTuff73 blog either.
There was a '60s tin-plate toy of the Mechanical/Terror Fish, B, but it wasn't by Plaston and I'm not sure what size it would've been in comparison to the Plaston Stingray.
ReplyDeleteFunnily enough, there was an email notification for your comment, but that's the first in a while.
