Take a look at the above model, currently available from the Corgi website for £27.49 (not including p&p). Now take a look at the eBay listing below of the exact same recently reissued model - asking price £185. (A couple or so other sellers aren't quite so greedy, asking £50 or just short of £70.) It seems that some 'crooks' simply have no shame.
Incidentally, a far more accurate version of the original 1965 model will be on sale (mail order only) around January or February in the New Year. I'll be receiving it when it's released, so I'll keep you posted. (Despite the box, the car in the photos is a re-created version of the 2nd edition 1968 silver birch Aston Martin [painted gold], not the 1st edition '65 one.)

Truly shocking, McS. Opportunistic sellers like this should be banned from ebay.
You always get the opportunist... Hoping Gordon will be doing cartwheels on seeing it and buy it. But in this case he can keep it. Saw a Kingly Critter a while back for £500... It did have it's crown though.
Dunno why some enterprising soul hasn't made repros of that crown yet, LH. Even if they charged a reasonable price they'd make a fortune. (My Kingly Critter's crown has three of the four prongs.)
