A cascading cornucopia of cool comics, crazy cartoons, & classic collectables - plus other completely captivating & occasionally controversial contents. With nostalgic notions, sentimental sighings, wistful wonderings, remorseful ruminations, melancholy musings, rueful reflections, poignant ponderings, & yearnings for yesteryear. (And a few profound perplexities, puzzling paradoxes, & a bevy of big, beautiful, bedazzling, buxom Babes to round it all off.)

That is pretty good. I have never seen it before. What happens next, Kid?
ReplyDeleteYou'll see when I publish the next episode later tonight, JP. Incidentally, the previous episodes are all on the blog. Just type Don Starr into the blog's search box.
ReplyDeleteWill do! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteNo bother, JP.
ReplyDeleteBeen trying to find the complete rubberman run from SMASH but no one seems to have it anywhere on the web. Any chance you know if its available
ReplyDeleteThere are data discs available of Smash! on ebay from time to time, but those apart, I'm unaware of where else you could access the strips. (There's a Rubberman strip from one of the Smash! Annuals on the blog somewhere though.) Your best bet would be to email Rebellion, who own the copyright, and ask them if they have any plans to reprint the series in their Treasury of British Comics line. If they're aware there's an interest (so best get your pals to email them too), then it may well happen. The Missing Link/Johnny Future strips are due out in April, so Rubberman could well be a contender for a future (npi) release.
ReplyDeleteThe ebay disc are always incomplete so looks like i will have to give it a miss.
ReplyDeleteLike I say, contact Rebellion and let them know you'd love to see a Rubberman collection.
