And they were both right, TC. Apparently, Howard Hughes designed a bra for Jane to accentuate her 'attributes', but many years later she said that it was too uncomfortable so she didn't wear it - without telling Hughes.
Just love the sassy Jane Russell. This pic is a publicity still for her light romantic comedy, THE FUZZY PINK NIGHTGOWN (1957), which, ironically, was filmed in black & white. She played a blonde movie star who, on the evening her of the premiere of her movie, “The Kidnapped Bride,” is actually kidnapped!
Didn't she also play a blonde (for a scene or two) in 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes'? I don't usually publish anonymous comments, so I'd be obliged if you'd chose a name for yourself to use for any future comments, thanks.
