A cascading cornucopia of cool comics, crazy cartoons, & classic collectables - plus other completely captivating & occasionally controversial contents. With nostalgic notions, sentimental sighings, wistful wonderings, remorseful ruminations, melancholy musings, rueful reflections, poignant ponderings, & yearnings for yesteryear. (And a few profound perplexities, puzzling paradoxes, & a bevy of big, beautiful, bedazzling, buxom Babes to round it all off.)

Been meaning to say for a while - Jim Reeves "Twelve Songs of Christmas" IS Christmas. I grew up with it and playing it repeatedly is the only Christmassy thing i do!
ReplyDeleteI first bought it in 1977 when I was around 18 because I love Christmas songs. However, there was something about it that returned me to an earlier point in childhood, so I feel as if I've grown up with it from my earliest days. I can 'picture' it in the three houses I lived in before I'd even bought it, so there's something very potent about it.
