I think I've been overfeeding you all recently with my Christmas issue posts, so I'm going to do this one in two parts to spare you indigestion. This time around, it's the POW! yuletide number from 1967, meaning that so far we've covered '65, '66, & '67 - any guesses as to what year is next after the second part of this comic? As you can see, this was #50, leaving only a further 36 issues of this weekly paper to go before it merged with SMASH!. (Before that however, a mere 3 issues later, WHAM! was subsumed within Pow!'s pages.) That means this was the first, last, and only festive edition of ODHAMS PRESS' third POWER COMIC, so I guess it's a bit of a collectors' item. If you didn't have it before, you do now. See you for part 2, frantic fans - if not sooner.

And look - cameo appearances by SPIDER-MAN, NICK FURY, ALF & BART (and others) - plus CLOAK artist MIKE HIGGS. Now that's what I call a 'team-up' |

I'd love to see the Christmas issues of the Beezer and Topper from 1971-73 - when I was reading them :)
Don't have them, unfortunately, CJ. I'll be doing a Beano one though, hopefully.
Is that Elongated Man?
No, that's 'The Rubber Man', PS - cursed by an Indian Fakir to - er, stretch like rubber. (Funny kind of a curse, eh?)
Also Merry Xmas to you. and I think this deserves a posting . https://youtu.be/N7oZH2UMJFo
And the same to you, PS. Actually, I'm going to spend Christmas with at least a couple of hundred Daleks.
