MAD #1 COVER CONCEPT PAINTING...

thing to say.) What we have here is the concept painting by HARVEY

KURTZMAN of the cover of MAD #1. Done in India ink and mixed

media, you can compare it with the actual published comic, below.

Well spotted, TC. Also 'It's Science With Dr. Radium' #5, and a panel in a comic strip called 'The Cloak' in an issue of Pow!
