Fact of the day. They dyed her hair and it turned out horrible. That's why she wore all the wigs in the early episodes,
ReplyDeleteKnew that 'fact of the day', Phil. Tell me one I didn't.
ReplyDeleteAnd then in the episode where Mother visits his aunts and tells them a story about the Avengers, they used scenes from earlier episodes (and maybe footage from one that was never completed), so Tara King is wearing a wig and looks blonde. When one of the aunts says that Tara is a brunette, Mother says, "I'm the one telling the story, and I'll make her hair whatever color I choose." But you probably already knew that, too.
ReplyDeleteI remember seeing that episode, TC, 'though I couldn't say if it was when it was originally broadcast or a repeat. However, I must confess that I'd forgotten it until you reminded me.
ReplyDeleteThat does it. When I get home I'm looking in my Patrick Mcnee autobiography.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to see if my local library has that book, Phil. I quite fancy reading it.
