A cascading cornucopia of cool comics, crazy cartoons, & classic collectables - plus other completely captivating & occasionally controversial contents. With nostalgic notions, sentimental sighings, wistful wonderings, remorseful ruminations, melancholy musings, rueful reflections, poignant ponderings, & yearnings for yesteryear. (And a few profound perplexities, puzzling paradoxes, & a bevy of big, beautiful, bedazzling, buxom Babes to round it all off.)

I thought I knew all the Bond girls, but I had to look Ms. Smith up and was reminded of her magnetic scene with Roger Moore. Thanks for the memories.
ReplyDeleteRip Off
My pleasure. Wish I had her 'phone number and I'd look her up myself, Rip. Stunning looking woman.
ReplyDeleteShe may have the distinction of being Roger Moore's first "Bond girl." At least, the first to be seen on screen (the "sheer magnetism" scene). Although I believe her part was among the last to be filmed.
ReplyDeleteIf I remember correctly, TC, she also appeared with him in The Saint.
ReplyDeleteDo you remember her in that 70s hair spray / shampoo advert where the Vikings were raping and pillaging? She'd made her hair look pretty so as to be picked by a Viking, which, of course, she was.
ReplyDeleteShe disrobes completely in Hammer's "The Vampire Lovers", if you're interested. I saw an interview with her recently, and she's still pretty fit.
Yup, I remember that ad, MC - and I've got pics from The Vampire Lovers. Too saucy for the blog 'though. She's 66 now, but as you say, still pretty fit.
