Having shown you The INVINCIBLE IRON MAN #80 in a fairly recent post, it's the perfect time to show the cover it inspired 20-odd years later - The ADVENTURES Of SUPERMAN #435.  Which one do you prefer?  Go on, force yourself, frantic one - pick a favourite!  Below is IM #80 again to remind you.

  1. Kid,

Kirby's Iron-Man cover is one of the best of his mid-70s Marvel efforts. Simple and effective, unlike many of the cluttered, word-balloon filled designs that permeated Marvel of that period. It would make an excellent tee shirt design,

  2. Hi Nick. I showed this cover a couple of posts back - without the nose. Take a look and let me know which one you prefer. There are places which print whatever image you want on tee-shirts. If Marvel hasn't produced a tee-shirt with that cover on it, you could always get your own printed until they do.
