Just think - DOCTOR WHO hadn't yet appeared on television when the above TV COMIC Summer Special from 1962 went on sale. Within a couple of years, the wandering Time Lord was a regular and popular strip within the pages of the weekly periodical. Just about every programme aimed at kids eventually ended up in TV Comic, which probably explains why it lasted as long as it did.
