Always looking back |
A cascading cornucopia of cool comics, crazy cartoons, & classic collectables - plus other completely captivating & occasionally controversial contents. With nostalgic notions, sentimental sighings, wistful wonderings, remorseful ruminations, melancholy musings, rueful reflections, poignant ponderings, & yearnings for yesteryear. (And a few profound perplexities, puzzling paradoxes, & a bevy of big, beautiful, bedazzling, buxom Babes to round it all off.)

Looks interesting Kid, good to see these all in one place as I enjoy your "musings" so will be good to see these all in one place, hope you will still keep adding these to "Crivens" as well
ReplyDeleteYup, whenever I do a new post along those lines, I'll post them simultaneously on both blogs, McScotty. I'll be adding more of the old postss to the new Blog when time permits, but there's about 15 there at the moment.
ReplyDeleteI MIGHT. just have a wander over there, if I can take a break from " going 'round with my begging bowl " Hmmmph!!
ReplyDelete:-D
( only kiddin'! - made me laugh! )
Seriously, I shall enjoy going through them again.
It'll get more interesting the more posts I add, JP. I've been re-reading them and been surprised at what an evocative writer I am (he said, modestly). Some people, of course, will say that my writing evokes only a sense of lack of ability, but you can't win 'em all!
ReplyDeleteI just had a quick look, Kid - like Paul I've always enjoyed your musings and there quite a few of these that I haven't read before (or that's how it seemed as I scrolled quickly through them) but I notice they all have "no comments" underneath even though I know I've commented on some of them myself when they originally appeared - starting again from scratch I assume.
ReplyDeleteThe only way I could transfer previous comments, CJ, is to cut and paste them and submit them using the 'name/URL' option. However, avatars and links to those comments wouldn't be transferred along with them. I'll have a think about doing it, but feel free if you want to comment again.
ReplyDeleteI didn't actually mind about the absence of previous comments and it gives the blog a new, fresh feel. Anyway I'll add the new blog to my bookmarked list as soon as I've finished this comment.
ReplyDeleteThe bear-faced cheek of it (ahem) recycling old material, Kid. Nah, go for it; if you can't steal from yourself, who can you steal from. I agree with Colin: never mind about the old comments. I look forward to having a glance at your older 'Gleska' posts, now that I've been wandering over many of the sites you talk about.
ReplyDeleteAnd feel free to become a member, CJ.

It's just that I thought that there's an audience for this sort of thing amongst people who might not necessarily like comics, etc., GB. I'll see how it goes.
