LEE JAMES TURNOCK IS - A JOLLY GOOD JUDGE OF CHARACTER...

Over on LEE JAMES TURNOCK's entertaining blog, "the world's least famous underground cartoonist" (as he describes himself) has done me proud by letting the world know just how "bloody annoying" I am.  Of course, that's code for what a great bloke I happen to be; handsome, witty, erudite, articulate, windswept and interesting.  And let's not forget my other two main attributes - modesty and humility.  (Or is that merely one attribute described by two synonymous words?  Regardless, it's all true.)

Anyway, Lee has drawn a very apropos cartoon commenting on the current sad situation of the world's longest-running weekly comic, The DANDY (or should that be The DONE-DY), which will make you laugh and shed a tear at the same time. Why not jump over there right now and take a look?  It's well worth the trip.

(UPDATE:  Or it would be if the blog was still there, which it now isn't.  Never mind, you can read more of mine instead.)

  3. Mr Turnock does indeed, with very much aplomb, give testimony to your very erudite and no nonsense critique on the demise of the Dandy.

  9. Good to see your humor is 40 years out of date like the rest of your opinions.

  10. Good to see your humour is on a par with your intellect - which is smaller than your shoe size.

  12. Must've decided to discontinue it for some reason. Maybe too busy drawing his comics.

  13. Or wallowing in self pity because his trolling finally rebounded upon him. Karma.

  14. Trolling? That's leaving pointless, spiteful, anonymous (or under an alias) comments about someone you don't know, isn't it? A bit like you're doing now, perhaps?
