A cascading cornucopia of cool comics, crazy cartoons, & classic collectables - plus other completely captivating & occasionally controversial contents. With nostalgic notions, sentimental sighings, wistful wonderings, remorseful ruminations, melancholy musings, rueful reflections, poignant ponderings, & yearnings for yesteryear. (And a few profound perplexities, puzzling paradoxes, & a bevy of big, beautiful, bedazzling, buxom Babes to round it all off.)

You have hit the nail on the head regarding the art and how can they hope to pick up new readers with prices like that. I can't see a kid spending 4 quid of their pocket money on something they have never read before.
ReplyDeleteGreat blog by the way ;-)
Thanks, Chris. Glad you like it.
ReplyDeletePocket money?
ReplyDeleteI must be showing my age again Scooter but pocket money was the money our parents gave us every week, in my case to spend on comics.
ReplyDeleteI know I'm out of touch with todays "yoof" but whats it called nowaday's?
We always referred to it as our allowance Kid.
ReplyDeleteWasn't me who asked - it was Chris.
ReplyDeleteYou put into words that which many of us were thinking. x
ReplyDeleteDC Thomson seem intent on stumbling from one disaster to the next. Shocking.
ReplyDeleteWhat a spiteful review.
ReplyDeleteSpiteful? Not at all. I think 'accurate' is a far more apt description.
