A cascading cornucopia of cool comics, crazy cartoons, & classic collectables - plus other completely captivating & occasionally controversial contents. With nostalgic notions, sentimental sighings, wistful wonderings, remorseful ruminations, melancholy musings, rueful reflections, poignant ponderings, & yearnings for yesteryear. (And a few profound perplexities, puzzling paradoxes, & a bevy of big, beautiful, bedazzling, buxom Babes to round it all off.)

Looks nice, Kid, but how exactly did you make it?
ReplyDeleteHow did I make it, CJ? Why, magnificently, of course.
DeleteYou need more details? Okay, I used the black 'lid' of a spray can of matt black paint after enlarging the Internet photo of Bats with his bat-a-rang to actual size. Then I cut out the bat-a-rang and taped it to the plastic, then cut around the 'stencil' to make a bat-a-rang shaped piece of black plastic. Once I'd got the basic shape, I then smoothed out any rough bits. Then I affixed a 'peg' to it so I could plug it into either one of the hole in his hands, though it's usually the right one.
Hey, presto - it's magic!.
I assume you've seen the fantastic pictures taken by the Artemis moon mission, Kid? The last time NASA went to the moon was in December 1972, only a few weeks after MWOM No.1 came out.
ReplyDeleteI've seen some of them, but I'm not really paying much attention to it all, CJ, as I'm 'spaced out' enough as it is. Besides, I only have to look up at the sky to see the moon, if I want to.
DeleteBut you can't look up and see the FAR side of the moon, Kid, and that's what the pictures showed.
ReplyDeleteBoth sides (if a spherical object can be said to have two sides) are far enough away for me to be much bothered about, CJ.
